Our story to freedom
At Liberatii, we’re the Gateway to Database Freedom, helping businesses break free from database lock-in and seamlessly adopt modern data technologies.
Inspired by the Italian word ‘liberati’—meaning ‘to free yourself’—we empower enterprises to innovate and grow without being held back by outdated systems. Our journey began in 2012 at Querix, where co-founders Nima Torabi and Mehdi Afshar were developing compilers and collaborating closely with enterprise clients.
Time and again, they encountered the same challenge: organizations trapped by costly, restrictive database vendors with no easy way out. Driven to solve this pressing issue, Nima and Mehdi launched Liberatii, envisioning a solution that would unlock true flexibility for businesses worldwide.
After years of dedicated research and development, we introduced the first Liberatii prototype in 2019. Backed by seed investment, we assembled a world-class team of PhDs, engineers, and industry experts, all committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in data management.
Today, Liberatii is proud to be both an AWS and Microsoft partner, working alongside major system integrators across the globe. Our innovative solutions are available on the Azure and AWS Marketplaces, revolutionizing database migrations by making them faster, easier, and more cost-effective than ever before.
